Emergency Kits

HOW THE KITS WORK

PREPARE

Clean the damaged area with the alcohol swabs provided. The area should be dry and free of dirt and debris or the patch may not work. Remove all contents from foil bag. Put on protective gloves. Tear off the top of the heater and pour water into the heater bag until it reaches the fill lines. This activates the heater.

HEAT

Heat the patch with the water-activated heating bag, included in the kit, until the patch becomes flexible. The patch material can also be heated by being wrapped in foil in a frying pan on a camp stove, with a heat gun, with a hair straightener (flat iron) or with another heating device from an RV.

PEEL

Peel off the adhesive backing while the patch is flexible and warm.

APPLY

Form the patch material over and around the damaged area. Press to ensure consistent adhesion. Shape the patch until it cools (only seconds) and becomes rigid.

Within minutes, your repair is complete.
